2020 IATA "Recertification" Acceptance Training for Operators and Ground Handling Agents

Who should do this course?

This course is for you if your work involves accepting dangerous goods for, or on behalf of, a ground handling agent or operator/airline in Australia, and you have a qualification that expires within the next 3 months. You can complete this training anytime in the 90 days leading up to your qualification expiring and once successfully completed, you will retain the day and month of your current expiry date.

What do you require?

You will need the latest version of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Please contact us if you would like us to set you up with the loan of an online version. These are available for you to use for a maximum of 3 weeks, or until the expiry of your current qualification, whichever is the soonest.

What's in the course?

This course reviews all aspects of preparing and accepting dangerous goods intended for air transport. It includes changes to the regulations and legislation that have taken place since you completed your previous course.

How is the course delivered?

This course is intended to be fully self-paced, enabling you to complete it at your own pace and in your own time. However, full interaction is available with any of our fully-qualified instructors. Details will be given to you after your registration process has been completed.

Most modules include sound, so a set of headphones or speakers is essential. If you intend to interact with an instructor, you may be required to login to a live session. In this situation, a microphone is also required.

This training should take around 6 to 8 hours to complete.

Our price includes GST.

What you will receive at the end of your training

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to download an accreditation approved by CASA and IATA. Your certificate will re-qualify you to prepare, handle and accept consignments of dangerous goods intended for air transport. Your qualification will remain current for another 2 years. Before the expiry of this time, you will be required to complete further refresher training.
